The Role

We are looking for experienced, talented Developers to join our growing software development team and help us in delivering class-leading software products and eCommerce services for our clients.

The Team

We are a multidisciplinary team, with a keen focus on emerging technologies and a broad knowledge base enabling us to deliver from idea creation to software build and hosting and operations.

Our skills and experience cover everything from User and Customer Experience, software development in multiple programming languages, and cloud technologies and on-premise infrastructure, all delivered using Lean and Agile methodologies, making us capable of delivering and supporting solutions that fit the client need, at a rapid pace.

Can you:

  • Write “clean”, well designed, SOLID code.
  • Work in an agile way: from Stories and Scrums to TDD/CI/CD.
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain core product software and databases.
  • Work across the full stack, but be a specialist in your area.
  • Take ownership of product architecture, development and support.

Are you:

  • Experienced in all aspects of development, particularly regarding building C#, Serverless, MVC applications and API’s, or JavaScript (Angular), CSS & HTML.
  • Able to build, deploy and run applications in Azure.
  • Willing to turn your hand to learn new skills and code in other languages we may use (PHP, Java, Scala to name a few).
  • Well versed in Object Oriented Programming and Design best practices.
  • Knowledgeable in Relational Databases.
  • Experienced in version control tools (ideally Git – Azure DevOps).

You will need experience in:

  • C# (.NET framework – ideally .NET Core) and/or HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, Bootstrap and jQuery or Angular.
  • Database design and development (SQL Server or MySQL preferred, Cosmos DB would be a nice to have).
  • Writing API’s, JSON, XML, SOAP and RESTful Web services.
  • And hopefully:
  • Running applications in the Cloud (Azure/AWS/Google).
  • DevOps, CI/CD.
  • Common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc.).

About us:

iSite are an established media agency that creates compelling content for some of the world’s biggest brands. We specialize in online enrichment, technical delivery, broadcast media and creation of interactive experiences and content. 

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our CG team.

Responsibilities:

  • Modelling and texturing a range of latest products from blue-chip clients.
  • Assisting other team members on challenging large-scale projects.
  • Creating photorealistic environments to be used in projects.
  • Producing high quality and dynamic CG videos.
  • Rendering catalogue quality CG images.
  • Working closely with the Edit team for VFX elements, post grading and translations.
  • Working closely with the Art Department, to help develop storyboards.

Skills:

  • The ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Have experience with 3Ds Max and V-Ray (or similar variants Maya or Cinema4D).
  • A good understanding of Houdini or similar.
  • Are well versed in various modelling techniques.
  • Able to animate cameras and products in your 3D scenes.
  • Good pipeline organisation with asset and map creation.
  • Knowledge in Adobe After Effects.

The role:

Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will play a vital role in the construction of sets for video and photography. The position will be full time and based at our Colchester Studios.

Skills
Although you will receive training, a basic understanding of the following skills are advantageous:

  • Carpentry
  • Tiling
  • Kitchen fitting
  • Bathroom fitting
  • Dry lining
  • Painting
  • Forklift experience

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to –

  • Preparing tools/materials ready for set constructing 
  • Organising/ordering materials 
  • Cleaning, removing debris and un-used material for disposal 
  • Demolishing structures adhering to health and safety 
  • Operating power tools 
  • Assisting set Constructors with potential to learn multi trade skills

We are seeking ambitious creative individuals to join our talented Art Department as an Associate Designer. You will work closely with other departments, including Camera, Photography, CG, Edit and more, being at the core of projects from initial brief through to the final edit.  Our clients rely on our creative team to bring their products to life, so your role within the team will be a key part to any project you are involved in.

Your work will involve:

  • Creative concepts and solutions to client briefs
  • Storyboarding
  • Set design and dressing
  • Costume styling
  • Prop sourcing
  • Tidying and maintaining props store

Reporting to the Lead Designers, you will have the ability to produce quality artistic concepts at speed, an eye for detail and a thorough understanding of the creative production process. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a must, with understanding of Windows, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite being a bonus.

Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate creative ideas are essential as well as excellent time management to meet client deadlines.

We are seeking ambitious creative individuals to join our talented Art Department as a Storyboard Artist. Working closely with other departments, you will be a core member of our team helping develop scripts into a visual reference to be made into content. Our clients rely on our creative team to bring their products to life, so your role within the team will be a key part to any project you are involved in.

Tasks included within the role include, but are not limited to:

– Producing high quality storyboards fitting the brief from the creative team

– Creating concepts and solutions to client briefs

– Attending and contributing to relevant meetings and pitches as needed

About you

Reporting to the Lead Designer, you will have a thorough understanding of the creative production process and the ability to produce storyboards that are clear and descriptive. It is essential that you are able to sketch and communicate visually at speed.

Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is vital, with an understanding of Windows, Microsoft Office and other Adobe Creative Suite applications being a bonus.

You must have 12+ months industry experience within a similar position, and the right to work in the UK.
