The Role

We are looking for experienced, talented Developers to join our growing software development team and help us in delivering class-leading software products and eCommerce services for our clients.

The Team

We are a multidisciplinary team, with a keen focus on emerging technologies and a broad knowledge base enabling us to deliver from idea creation to software build and hosting and operations.

Our skills and experience cover everything from User and Customer Experience, software development in multiple programming languages, and cloud technologies and on-premise infrastructure, all delivered using Lean and Agile methodologies, making us capable of delivering and supporting solutions that fit the client need, at a rapid pace.

Can you:

  • Write “clean”, well designed, SOLID code.
  • Work in an agile way: from Stories and Scrums to TDD/CI/CD.
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain core product software and databases.
  • Work across the full stack, but be a specialist in your area.
  • Take ownership of product architecture, development and support.

Are you:

  • Experienced in all aspects of development, particularly regarding building C#, Serverless, MVC applications and API’s, or JavaScript (Angular), CSS & HTML.
  • Able to build, deploy and run applications in Azure.
  • Willing to turn your hand to learn new skills and code in other languages we may use (PHP, Java, Scala to name a few).
  • Well versed in Object Oriented Programming and Design best practices.
  • Knowledgeable in Relational Databases.
  • Experienced in version control tools (ideally Git – Azure DevOps).

You will need experience in:

  • C# (.NET framework – ideally .NET Core) and/or HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, Bootstrap and jQuery or Angular.
  • Database design and development (SQL Server or MySQL preferred, Cosmos DB would be a nice to have).
  • Writing API’s, JSON, XML, SOAP and RESTful Web services.
  • And hopefully:
  • Running applications in the Cloud (Azure/AWS/Google).
  • DevOps, CI/CD.
  • Common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc.).

CG ARTIST

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our CG Team.

The position will be full time and based at our Colchester Studios. You will be responsible for the creation of CG content from initial conception to final delivery.

Responsibilities

· Modelling and texturing a range of latest products from blue-chip clients.

· Assisting other team members on challenging large-scale projects.

· Creating photorealistic environments to be used in projects.

· Producing high quality and dynamic CG videos.

· Rendering catalogue quality CG images.

· Working closely with the Edit team for VFX elements, post grading and translations.

· Working closely with the Art Department, to help develop storyboards.

Skills

· The ability to work in a team as well as independently.

· Have experience with 3Ds Max and V-Ray (or similar variants Maya or Cinema4D).

· Are well versed in various modelling techniques.

· Able to animate cameras and products in your 3D scenes.

· Good pipeline organisation with asset and map creation.

· Knowledge in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop.

· Experience with fluid dynamics in Realflow or Phoenix FD.

· Previously used plugins like Forest Pack, FumeFX, or SiNi.

On the job training will be given where needed.

Languages would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

As Talent Manager you will coordinate the entire casting process from brief to shoot, working with the Producer and Director to execute to project timelines. You will be responsible for sourcing multiple talent including models, families, locations and MUAs.

Your core duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Talent scouting according to brief
  • Booking enquiries and preparing shortlists for clients
  • Scouting and booking locations
  • Making positive and trusted relationships with talent and agencies

Being part of the Production department puts you right in the centre of all our exciting projects. Reporting to the Head of Production, you’ll manage live action and animation projects from briefing to deliverables to syndication. You’ll schedule, coordinate, and work closely with our in-house Creative and Commercial teams to develop the project on brief to client deadlines and expectations.

The role involves scheduling and project management of multiple fast paced projects. You will need strong communication and client liaison skills, you must be agile, and able to manage live projects, in live time. The role will include both behind the scenes organisation as well as on set responsibilities.

We are seeking ambitious creative individuals to join our talented Art Department as an Associate Designer. You will work closely with other departments, including Camera, Photography, CG, Edit and more, being at the core of projects from initial brief through to the final edit.  Our clients rely on our creative team to bring their products to life, so your role within the team will be a key part to any project you are involved in.

Your work will involve:

  • Creative concepts and solutions to client briefs
  • Storyboarding
  • Set design and dressing
  • Costume styling
  • Prop sourcing
  • Tidying and maintaining props store

Reporting to the Lead Designers, you will have the ability to produce quality artistic concepts at speed, an eye for detail and a thorough understanding of the creative production process. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a must, with understanding of Windows, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite being a bonus.

Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate creative ideas are essential as well as excellent time management to meet client deadlines.

Working closely with our Directors and Producers, you’ll follow an initial brief, understand the needs of our clients and be responsible for seeing projects through to the final edit. Your work will involve:

You must have proven experience in a similar role and strong creative problem solving skills.
